Induction to Labor - Elective or Medical is an ACED- exclusive training workshop focused on the use of induction in labor.

“I’m so tired & can’t sleep” “How soon is this baby coming!!” “Why can’t I be induced?”

Learn the difference between medical and social inductions, along with common medications used.

The Use of TENS in Labor and Birth is an ACED-exclusive training workshop which will provide you with a basic understanding and practical application of TENS, Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation.

TENS is a safe, effective, and non-medical method of aiding in relaxation of muscle groups and blocking pain through nerve stimulation.  TENS units can be used through pregnancy, labor, and postpartum recovery to help with back pain and soreness, making them a valuable tool for doulas and their clients. 

The cost for this class includes a TENS device provided by ACBE.

ACBE does not certify persons in the use of TENS for medical purposes and does not accept responsibility or liability for use of a TENS unit by anyone attending this class.
